Outdoor Spaces

Across the Twin Cities, Three Rivers provides unique picnic sites and shelters that may be reserved for your next event. Most sites include picnic tables, water and large grills. Some sites can be combined to accommodate large groups. Group campsites are also available.

Indoor Spaces

Three Rivers' indoor gathering spaces make a memorable setting for intimate receptions or large wedding banquets. All facility rentals include table and chair set-up, firewood (for indoor fireplaces) and a kitchenette, unless otherwise noted. Some facilities also have limited technical equipment available upon request. Wi-Fi access is available at many sites.

Planning Your Event

What to know before the big day

Food at Your Event: Catering and Food Trucks

The use of an approved caterer or food truck is required for events at the following facilities: Elm Creek Chalet, Gale Woods Pavilion, Hyland Hills Chalet and Silverwood Great Hall.

All other reservation spaces allow guests to bring in their own food and beverage or they may choose from the list of approved caterers and food trucks.

Zero Waste

Three Rivers Park District is committed to lessening our impact on the environment by reducing the amount of waste generated at events. Please reference our Zero Waste Initiative while planning and making event preparations.

Special Use Permit

A Special Use Permit is required for all groups conducting organized events when using a park or trail facility.

Photography Passes

Commercial/professional, major film, advertisement and product photography on park property requires a pass which must be purchased in advance.
